WHY BIRDS?
When I was a child, I would lay down on a hill, look up at the sky, and wonder what it would be like to fly. Many of my dreams are representative of a birds view so I could travel quickly and get a higher perspective on the world. It still applies today...
I use different birds in many of my paintings because they symbolize various aspects of freedom, grace, and the interconnectedness of nature.
Each bird carries its own unique symbolism and significance, allowing me to infuse my artwork with layers of meaning and depth.
Whether it's the soaring eagle representing strength and vision, the delicate hummingbird embodying joy and resilience, or an invented bird, each avian presence adds a dynamic element to my compositions.
My intention is to evoke a sense of wonder and diversity in the natural world, inviting viewers to contemplate the beauty and complexity of life's tapestry through the lens of these winged creatures.
