The term "gatekeeper" is often mentioned in Scripture as gatekeepers were an important part of maintaining order in ancient societies. 

 

When invisioning The Gatekeeper, I wanted to reveal a more personal truth which represents self-love (soul), divine guidance and personal reverence. We have all been granted free will as humans ~  which is the highest honor granted from divine source.  

 

Being our own gatekeeper in all realms of life, we choose what comes through the gates of our ears, eyes, mouth, nose,and skin: what we listen to, hear, watch, see, taste, eat, inhale and touch. Who we surround ourselves with and how we spend our time. We must also protect the gateway to our sensual and sexual intimacies – in satisfying the appetites of our spirit, minds and bodies.
