Was the holy grail really a cup at all?

From ancient legends to contemporary movies, the Holy Grail has been a subject of mystery and fascination for centuries.

The Holy Grail is traditionally thought to be the cup that Jesus Christ drank from at the Last Supper and that Joseph of Arimathea used to collect Jesus's blood at his crucifixion.

The Gnostics believe the cup or holy grail symbolizes spiritual consciousness.

​

Dan Brown argues that Jesus and Mary Magdalene "companions" (which meant married during biblical times) and had a child. The Holy Grail actually was not a cup at all, but a bloodline that has been hidden and exists today.

For me, the Holy Grail embodies the light and divine spark innate in all human beings, gifted to each of us by divine Source. The woman's breast supports this notion with a tattoo written in Hebrew ~ מה שלא תעשה, עשה זאת בתשוקה ~ which means "Whatever you do, do it with passion".
