Abstract art emphasizes form, color, and texture over the literal representation of objects, seeking to evoke emotions or ideas through non-traditional means. It often involves the spontaneous, expressive use of materials, where artists rely on intuition to create compositions that feel balanced or dynamic, rather than following strict rules of realism.

For me, the process of creating abstract art is quite different than my supernaturalism or naturalism. I find the process more freeing and guided by intuition, where each layer and brushstroke unfolds naturally, allowing the piece to develop organically without rigid structure or predetermined outcomes. I am often amazed at the final image and what comes out when I get out of the way.
